Transcripts

Learn how transcripts work in the ticketing system.

What are transcripts?

Transcripts are automatically generated files that contain all the content of a ticket when it is closed. These files are useful for keeping a record of conversations and interactions that occurred in tickets, allowing the support team to review previous requests and track service history.

How do transcripts work?

When a ticket is closed, the system generates a transcript file that includes all messages exchanged within the ticket, including text, images, and other attachments. This file is then sent to a specific channel previously configured in the ticket system and to the user who opened the ticket.

It is important to remember that transcript contents will expire after a time determined by Discord, so it is recommended to save any important information before this happens.
