Auto Moderation

Automatically filter messages in your server

What is it?

Auto Moderation is a feature that allows you to automatically filter messages in your server. It can be configured to block, mute, or delete messages that contain unwanted content, such as spam, offensive language, or suspicious links.

How does it work?

Auto Moderation uses user-defined rules to identify and act on messages that don't meet the established criteria. This helps keep the server environment clean and safe.

Rule types

Auto Moderation allows you to create different types of rules, such as:

  • Word blocking: Prevents messages containing specific words from being sent.
  • Insult blocking: Prevents messages containing offensive language from being sent.
  • Excessive mentions filter: Prevents users from mentioning other users repeatedly in a short period of time.
  • Spam filter: Identifies and blocks messages that appear to be spam.
  • Link blocking: Prevents messages containing links from being sent.
In case of errors when creating a rule, check if your server doesn't already have existing rules of the same type.
